Before you pay anything

A practical checklist before paying any reservation fee or down payment in New Cairo.

01

Who should you pay?

Always pay into the developer company's official account, never a personal account whatever the justification.

Get an official receipt in your name showing the unit number, the project, the amount, and what the payment is for.

Confirm the person you are dealing with is authorised to sell, and that the project's licences are current.

02

What happens if you withdraw?

What happens to the reservation fee if you withdraw, and is there a window in which you can withdraw without losing it?

These terms vary widely between projects and they are written in the contract — do not rely on a verbal assurance.

03

Can you rely on the figures you read?

Prices and payment plans in New Cairo move quickly. Any figure you read — here or anywhere else — is indicative and must be confirmed with the developer before you commit.

We provide advice, not licensed investment advice. The financial decision is yours; our job is to make it with clearer information.

This is general guidance, not legal or licensed investment advice. Verify with the developer and the property registry before any financial commitment.
